Creating for Friends

We have a friend that is expecting a baby boy soon, so I embelished this onsie and burp cloth with some camo fabric for the little one.  I have a hard time deciding what to put on onsies for boys.  So, I went with another peace sign...
Our friend Lexi came over the other day and went through my stash of ribbon and picked out some combinations and asked me to make her a few bows.  Of course I said I would!
Orange, black and white are the colors of her softball team.
 She just liked these ribbons.
This one is my favorite.  I think I will make a few like this for Abigail.

Family Tree

We watch a little too much television around here.  We love the Sprout channel and they are alway sharing crafts for families to do together and that is where the inspiration for this little quick craft came from.
I cut all the pieces out and let the kids take turns assembling it.

We just included the people in our house but you could do a "real" family tree with more family members.

Patriotic Kid Project

Here we go with another hand/foot print project!  Just grab your red, white and blue paint, brushes, paper, markers and have your printer ready to go.
Paint the hand or foot like Old Glory.

Press foot or hand on the paper and have your cutie dip their index finger in the white paint to add "stars".
Use markers to add details and print your favorite patriotic phrase using a cute font.
